Any Card At Any Number

We have just launched our new trick, WTF, Any Card At Any Number. I wont tell you what the WTF stands for but I'm sure you can work it out, we called it that because the first time Mike showed it to somebody thats what they said.

If you don't know about the trick, it is based on the famous Berglas Effect. which David made very popular back in the day. He never disclosed the secret until his book The Mind and Magic of David Berglas came out and sold out almost as quickly (if you ever see a copy get one, its really great) In the book davids method was discussed and it became very clear to the reader that this trick was not for most people, thats when we at www.fasttricks.com thought we would have a crack at it.

The effect is simple.

The deck of cards is put on the table.

A number between 1 and 52 is named

A playing card is named

The deck is opened by the spectator

The cards are dealt to the named number and the Named card is at that position.

Its a miracle.

Jamie Allan and Mike Robinson have come up with a clever method, in which you dont need to know the order of the deck and there is almost no memory work, the trick has the same outcome each time, but with different cards and different numbers.
